One of the last empty lots on Tilton Road in Northfield has been put up for sale and I have some ideas as to what should be built there.

Within the past several days, a "for sale" sign has been hammered in the ground at 800 Tilton Road in Northfield, which is located right next to Wendy's (and within walking distance from us here at the radio station).

The listing shows it is a 1.75-acre plot of ground with 200 feet of frontage along Tilton. A rendering of what could be built there shows a nice-sized quick-service restaurant with about 75 parking spots (that's not to indicate that a fast food place is definitely going there, it just shows what it could look like).

As you are likely well aware, Tilton Road is certainly one of the busier roads in our area, serving as a link between the mainland and beach towns like Ventnor and Margate, not to mention Route 9, so any new business will have thousands of cars driving past it every day.
