As you may or may not know, the Atlantic City NJ Transit Rail Line has been suspended since the fall. Since service failed to resume last month like originally promised, commuters aren't the happiest of campers.

NJ.com reports that NJ Transit Spokeswoman Jill Smith has promised commuters will hear of a return date within the next three weeks. NJ Transit has made previous claims stating that rail line service should resume within the 2nd quarter, however riders are hesitant to believe this since they were promised service last month to no fruition.

The rail line was suspended for safety reasons after failing to complete what NJ.com says was the first phase of the Positive Train Control System. Various NJ Transit officials claim that engineers are on the job attempting to fix this issues as soon as possible.

In the meantime, rail line commuters are now turning to other forms of public transportation, but are itching to get back on the platforms.
