Another Great Local Free Beach Concert

Congratulations to the fine folks at Resorts Casino, they pulled off a spectacular event on the beach in Atlantic City Saturday! Weather-wise, it was the perfect day for a free day's worth of beach concerts. An estimated 50,000 on the beach and boardwalk area took in at least some of Saturday's concerts. "Surprise guest" Jimmy Buffett was, of course, the big draw. Buffett appeared on the stage shortly after Mac McAnally kicked off off the 4pm set of music. Andy Grammer began the days music shortly after 1pm, and the group Wilson Phillips provided the nightcap at 7pm. With very few exceptions, the crowd was fun and well-behaved, and a good time was enjoyed by all. Hey, Resorts, when are you doing it again?
