This is the kind of news that gives a panicked feeling to parents of school kids who travel on a school bus.

A school bus carrying four students along with the driver was involved in a crash early Wednesday in Lawrence Township, Cumberland County, according to NJ.com.

A New Jersey State Police spokesman said that a car collided with the school bus at about 7:15 am Wednesday on Main Street in Lawrence Township. As a result of the impact between the vehicles, the car burst into flames.

Emergency responders were able to extinguish the car quickly and the driver of the car was taken to the hospital as a precaution, according to police.

The students from Myron L. Powell School and the bus driver were excavated and, luckily, no one on the bus was injured.
