It was a beautiful day for a walk on the Ocean City boardwalk today so my girlfriend, Heidi, and I took full advantage of the fall weather before 4 p.m. kickoff time.

As I was strolling down the Ocean City boards before the Eagles played the Raiders, contemplating what food item I would bring home with me, I was delayed - by a wedding.

The wedding party lined up on 11th street, and walked down to the beach, with a crowd of people on the beach awaiting the bride's arrival.

The bride appeared with her father (I'm assuming) as a crowd of people watched and even gave applause when she appeared on the boardwalk. It was like a bunch of cars waiting for the train to pass, as everyone watched her get ready to meet her soon-to-be-husband on the beach.

It was a beautiful day, weather-wise, for a wedding on the beach and the Ocean City boardwalk provided a tremendous backdrop for such an event.

However, a few questions popped into my head as a stood and watched this wedding take place.

1. Would you choose to get married on Eagles game day?

2.  Are they going from the beach to a place that will have the game on TV?

3. Does anyone at the wedding actually care about the Eagles game?

4. If you were a guest at this wedding, would you plan to try and leave early or try to watch on phone, device, or just simply not attend?

Regardless of your answers to these questions (all in good fun), I wish the happy couple well in their marriage!

(If anyone was there or knows the couple, tell them we wish them well, and it looked like a beautiful wedding!)
