HBO Drops Another ‘Game Of Thrones’ Release Date Easter Egg
Quite literally, as a matter of fact.
The official Game Of Thrones Facebook page has dropped a teaser trailer featuring the release month of the show's final season.
By the time the show finally premieres, fans will have waited for the epic final season for over a year and half. Season 7 finished in 2017, so to be honest, we're pushing a good two years once the show premieres this April.
Fans have suggested via social media earlier this year that the final season would be released in April 2019 earlier this year, about 2.5 months ago to be exact. However, that wasn't confirmed by the network until now.
They're incredibly smart about this, though. Note that only the release month has been officially confirmed, not the release date. A one-step-at-a-time approach for this last go-around, I think.
Way to keep us on our toes, HBO, one last time.
