Ice Cream Smackdown to Benefit Atlantic City Police Officer Who Was Shot

Here's another way the Atlantic City area community is coming together to help out Atlantic City Police Officer Josh Vadell and his family.

This Saturday at 12:30, AC Sweet N' Treats, located in Atlantic City's Historic Gardener's Basin, is hosting an "Ice Cream Smackdown."

Local Police and Fire Fighters - and really anyone interested -  will do battle in an ice cream eating competition!

Each participant must register with a minimum donation of $100.

Officer Vadell was shot while on duty in Atlantic City several weeks ago, and continues to recover from his injuries.
