Local Teen Competes In Partnership For A Drug-Free New Jersey Music Competition

Atlantic County teen, Christian Torres of Minotola, a student at Buena Regional High School, is one of 38 New Jersey high school students performing at the 8th Annual Partnership for a Drug-Free New Jersey's Shout Down Drugs Prevention Concert!

On Thursday, May 24th, Christian will perform his original song "Don't Be That Guy" at the statewide concert in Newark, NJ at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center.

The New Jersey Shout Down Drugs music competition calls to high schools students to come up with their own original song that contain "powerful peer-to-peer drug prevention messages."  Christian Torres could win $10,000 worth of music contracts with the Partnership for a Drug-Free New Jersey.
