Memorial Day 2016 will be here shortly. This day is a time to remember the men and women who gave their lives protecting and serving our country, as well as those in active service and veterans. Many establishments will be offering freebies this Memorial Day. Check out where they are!

Here' a list of deals and free stuff for veterans this Memorial Day according to Discount Soldier.com.

Applebees: You can get a free signature entree with valid veteran's ID at participating locations.

Arby's: Free roast beef sandwich at participating restaurants.

Chili's: Veterans and active duty military get their choice of 7 free meals between the hours of 11 am - 5 pm. Proof of military service is required.

Denny's:  All you can eat pancakes for veterans and active duty military. Must show valid ID.

Friendly's: Free Big Two Do breakfast with coffee.

Hooters: 10 free boneless wings for veterans and active duty military. Must purchase a drink and show military ID.

Olive Garden: Choice of 1 of 5 entrees, plus unlimited soup, salad and bread sticks for all veterans and military active duty.

Outback Steakhouse: Free Bloomin' Onion and Coca-Cola for veterans and military personal. Must show valid ID.

Starbucks: Free tall brewed coffee for veterans at participating locations.
