As it turns out, New Jersey is one of the states with the lowest percent of people eating less than a serving a day of fruits and veggies. This means that most grown adults within the Garden State are getting (at least somewhat) adequate portions of produce per day. Overall, New jersey ranks in the bottom 16 in terms of obesity when it comes to the entire US. That's pretty good!

If we're in the bottom 16 on the obesity scale, that means we don't have as bad of a weight problem (in terms of unhealthy weight) here in NJ compared to the rest of the country. Furthermore, NJ ranked in the top 5 best states for food and fitness. This means that people in the Garden State care about being active.

So, there you have it, New Jersey! We're not as unhealthy as you thought.
