Parkway Worker Injured in Accident Involving Lawnmower

A man cutting grass on the Garden State Parkway Monday morning was injured when a lawnmower rolled down an embankment and landed on top of him.

Very few details have been released, but NJ.com reports the incident happened just after 8:30 Monday morning at mile market 55.9.

The report says the worker was flown to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City for treatment.

The name of the worker has not been released nor have the extent of his injuries and his condition.
