Rowan University’s Chickie’s and Pete’s is Now Open!

About this time last year, I told you that the beloved sports bar would be opening a new location on Rowan's campus.  After some hiccups, Chickie's and Pete's is finally open!

The newest location was supposed to open last summer, then it was going to open in November...  Finally we can get crab fries in Glassboro!

I haven't been to the Rowan location yet, but my husband and his sister had lunch there last weekend and said it's great!

Chickie's locations in Jersey keep growing.  Atlantic City, EHT, Bordentown and Glassboro are the 4 restaurants currently open.  Chickie's announced last week that they are taking over the old Champp's on Rt. 73 in Marlton.  No word on when that location will open, making it the 5th full-sized Chickie's in the Garden State!

Chickie's was one of the first places my friends took me to when I first moved to Philadelphia so long ago.  I lived down the street from the original Chickie's in Northeast Philly.  It still remains - in my mind - the best Chickie's, but I love them all!
