Sad News From Maurice River NJ Woman With Cancer Who Was Hugged By Luke Bryan
Jen Reeves has been battling cancer.
It's been a long, hard road for Reeves, a teacher in the Maurice River Township School District. She was diagnosed with cancer and has been battling and battling.
Last week, she got a welcome reprieve and a bit of excitement when Luke Bryan, performing on stage at the BB&T Pavilion in Camden, gave her a hug during his show:
Reeves is the mother of three boys and the interaction with Luke Bryan provided an incredible "pick-me-up" for her spirit.
Unfortunately, the day after the concert Jen felt a hard gut-punch of reality.
Her doctor told her the chemotherapy that she's been undergoing is not working, and the cancer has spread to her lungs, liver, and spleen.
Devastating news.
Jen Reeves is asking anyone and everyone to share her story - and this video - in hopes that someone, somewhere who works with her rare form of cancer can provide her some hope.
As she says, "How do you prepare your 7-year-old....."
God Bless.
As she says, "I'm not ready to die. I'm not ready to give up this fight just yet."
"Maybe somebody somewhere...."
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, Jen. Just by posting about your life, you are helping countless people in ways that you can never imagine.
