South Jersey’s Weird Childhood Fears
Most kids growing up have quite a few fears. Some kids and grown-ups are afraid of clowns, some fear roller coasters, and some fear snakes. When I was a child I was afraid of a lot. I was afraid of spiders, being home alone (of course this is when I was a bit older), the shower, the dark, my closet, going upstairs alone, looking into anything reflective at night, looking out a window at night, the song "Tainted Love", and there are probably more things I am forgetting. I was definitely the textbook scaredy cat.
We asked you to tell us your weird childhood fears. As someone who was terrified of a lot of things as a child, the fears sent into us didn't seem all that weird. Here are some of South Jersey's biggest childhood fears.
