Manchester Township Police say,

"The investigation revealed that the Subaru was traveling east on Beckerville Road when a deer emerged from a wooded area and into his lane of travel. The driver collided with the deer and subsequently lost control of the vehicle as it entered the westbound lane and ran off of the road colliding into a mailbox, landscape rocks, and a large tree."

Shabazz had to be extracted from his car and was then flown to Jersey Shore University Medical for treatment of possible head trauma and internal injuries. As of Sunday morning, police say he was listed in critical but stable condition.
