There Was a Dog Wedding in OCNJ and It Was SO Underrated
This past Independence day we celebrated with fireworks and dogs! But no...not hot dogs.
Celebrating America's birthday entailed another celebration on our most recent holiday.
With the passing of another 4th of July, one dog-loving family in Ocean City, hosted a wedding between their Biewer Terrier Tessa and her real life, down-the block dog-friend Grom.
Why? Well it was apparently to raise awareness in an effort for Ocean City pups to gain independence from the shelter life by finding their fur-ever homes.
The Ross family invited friends, neighbors and dog-lovers throughout the island to witness the “puptuals”. --Yes, you heard that right.
Guests had the chance to mingle with representatives from The Human Society of Ocean City, learn more about how they can support the vital work of the shelter, and meet dogs that are currently up for adoption!
Although the wedding is over, Tessa and Grom celebrate their puppy-love
on their puppy-moon (that's allegedly the newest trend).
You can still contribute to support the HSOCNJ by donating to their Go-Fund-Me page in order to help the provide resources for the animals to remain in good care until they're adopted!
