Wawa to Launch New Meatball Hoagie on Monday

Good news: Wawa will be rolling-out a new hoagie on Monday. Bad news: you'll have to do a little bit of driving to try it.

Starting Monday in 15 Wawa stores around Center City Philadelphia, you'll be able to taste a Broad Street Meatball hoagie, which is described as, "meatballs and parmesan cheese, provolone cheese, garlic aioli and cherry pepper relish, all served on a toasted Amoroso roll," according to a story from CSP Daily News.

The special sandwich is actually a fundraiser for Broad Street Ministry as part of Wawa's Hoagies for Hope campaign. The convenience store chain hopes to raise $10,000.

There's no official word yet if the Broad Street Meatball hoagie would ever become a staple on Wawa's menu. It's available in Center City Wawa's through April 30th.
