Weekends In Jersey- Jake’s Branch County Park [Video]
I am taking full advantage of the weather every chance I get and spending time outdoors at some of South Jersey's most beautiful parks.
Now I know I'm walking into the great debate of where South Jersey starts with this one.
I took time this weekend to visit Jake's Branch County Park in Beachwood. I've only gone to the park maybe two times in the past and didn't really go through it, so this was a new experience for me. Growing up I volunteered at Cattus Island County Park in Toms River, working with the reptiles, so I was feeling quite at home here.
There are a bunch of interactive learning games for kids, or adults. You can touch pelts of local wildlife, learn about local birds, see which bugs are important bugs, come face to face with some scaly friends, and so much more.
I took to a few of the trails, walking through the Pine Barrens.
