What is Happening on Route Nine in Manahawkin, New Jersey?
On a drive through Stafford Township in Southern Ocean County recently I spotted the beginning of a big clearing project. Lots of land clearing machinery and they have a large section of land along Route 9 in Manahawkin transforming into something and that’s the million dollar question!
Now I will beat you to the punch, YES lol I searched to see if I could get an answer as to what this project is, but I could not find any leads. Maybe our “super searchers” in the audience can get lead. I mean that with sincerity.....our listeners find answers, that’s why I ask you. So let’s see in the days to come if we find our answer. I really don’t have a suggestion as to what we need there, but I am willing to say “eh” to any kind of strip mall. Route Nine is known as the strip mall graveyard?
Whatever the project is one thing we can see is that it will be a large project. As You can see from the photos above, it is a deep project off Route 9.
