Williamstown Man Killed In Crash On AC Expressway

A tragic accident in Gloucester Township on the Atlantic City Expressway has resulted in one fatality and one badly injured.

NJ.com reports that 29-year-old Michael Lamond Jr. was traveling west on the Atlantic City Expressway when a driver hit him head-on, traveling east in the westbound lanes near the 42 mile-marker. The 29-year-old was killed while the driver traveling the opposite direction was only badly injured and transported to the hospital where he currently remains for treatment.

Details about why the driver was traveling on the wrong side of the expressway have not been released. No additional information about the accident has been reported.
