That news captivated the entire nation and now Laundrie has been deemed missing as the investigation into what happened to Gabby Petit turned from a missing person case to a homicide investigation.

In the midst of that, South Jersey was struck with some scary news on Saturday, September 25th, regarding a boy who went missing from North Cape May. Sources report that the Lower Township Police Department said he was last seen around 3:30 p.m. Saturday while out riding his bike around town. Police provided a description saying that he was wearing Vans sneakers and black pants while last spotted on his silver bicycle.

Luckily, folks in Cape May County received some good news on the afternoon of Monday, September 27th. Apparently, the boy's family can get some good sleep now since the twelve year old has been confirmed to have been found and is safe.

It's always a great feeling to be graced with that kind of good news. South Jersey can start out the first full week of fall on a good note.

Obviously, kudos needs to handed to the Lower Township Police Department for doing everything in their power to get the word out about the boy. The more eyes that are peeled for someone deemed missing, the better, right?

No doubt, the family is feeling an overwhelming sense of relief, as we all are.
