The claim came from a construction worker who filed a suit against the department over an incident that had the plaintiff getting run off the road by a Monroe Township officer reportedly in an unmarked vehicle. NJ.com reports the officer then supposedly had an exchange with the construction worker that included expletives that shouldn't be used while on the job or in any professional setting, really.

According to NJ.com, the incident concluded with a gun to the man's head, back-up called in, and tickets issued that were later dismissed in court. The settlement included a sum of over $300,000. No word on whether or not the officer involved had any repercussions to deal with or was suspended from the force.
