4 From EHT, AC, and Pleasantville Busted for Dunkin' Burglaries

The case of the Dunkin' Donuts burglaries in New Jersey has been solved with the arrest of four Atlantic City area people.

New Jersey State Police say the four have been linked to several burglaries and thefts at multiple Dunkin' Donuts throughout New Jersey.

Troopers have arrested Aaqib James, 40, and Altovise James, 40, both of Pleasantville, Rasheedah Blackwell, 40, of Atlantic City, and Naeem Reynolds, 28, of Egg Harbor Township.

On Tuesday, May 7, troopers from Woodstown Station began investigating a burglary at the Dunkin' Donuts on US 40 in Upper Pittsgrove Township, Salem County. Troopers determined that the suspects made a forced entry through the drive-thru window and stole cash. During the investigation, troopers collected evidence near the store, including video surveillance of the suspect vehicle, a black SUV.

During the three-week investigation, troopers, working with local area law enforcement, discovered that suspects and the SUV were also captured on video surveillance burglarizing several other Dunkin Donuts in Salem, Gloucester, Ocean, and Morris counties. Through various investigative means, detectives identified Aaqib James, Altovise James, and Reynolds as the suspects and Blackwell as the registered owner of the SUV.
On Tuesday, May 28, Woodstown Station troopers, Troop “A” Criminal Investigations Office, T.E.A.M.S Unit, and K-9 Unit along with officers from partnering agencies executed multiple search warrants in Pleasantville City, Atlantic City, and Egg Harbor Township. As a result, detectives arrested all four suspects and seized cash and items consistent with the burglaries.
Aaqib James, Altovise James, Naeem Reynolds, and Rasheedah Blackwell were charged with burglary, theft, criminal trespass, possession of burglary tools, and conspiracy. Aaqib James and Reynolds were lodged at the Salem County Jail pending a detention hearing. Altovise James and Blackwell were turned over to the Franklin Township Police Department.
