Absecon Police Investigate Strong Armed Robbery

Police in Absecon are investigating a strong armed robbery that occurred at a local motel yesterday.

According to police, they were called out to Empire Inn and Suites on the White Horse Pike, where they found a man suffering from non-life threatening injuries. He was taked to the hospital for treatment.

Police say their investigation has determined that " two males entered the victim’s room, brandished weapons and assaulted the man. The suspects left the scene with the victim’s belongings and were last seen leaving the area in a late model red 4 door vehicle traveling Eastbound on Rt. 30"
