
Woman from Mt. Holly killed in crash on Black Horse Pike in Folsom, NJ, reports say
Published reports say one person was killed in an accident on the Black Horse Pike in Folsom early Thursday morning.
The crash happened around 12:30 AM in the Penny Pot section of the borough in western Atlantic County.
According to WCAU-TV, a Ford SUV and a Toyota were traveling westbound on the Black Horse Pike/Route 322 when the Toyota collided with the rear of the Ford, causing the Ford to run off the road, overturn, and hit three parked vehicles.
Daily Voice reports 22-year-old Yolanda Pacheco of Mount Holly, the driver of the SUV, died from her injuries.
Both a female passenger from Egg Harbor City in the SUV and the driver of the car, a 25-year-old woman from Mays Landing, suffered what were described as moderate injuries.
The highway was closed in both directions for several hours between the Pine Crest Inn and the Harley Dawn Diner while state troopers cleared the scene.
