We are washing our hands more and touching our face less and those are good things, but are we cleaning our phones correctly?

There are do's and don'ts about cleaning your phone. We want them clean of course, but we don't want to affect their performance, so here are some suggestions from Apple to help you out.

Don'ts...

Don't get moisture near the openings.

Don't use cleaning products.

Don't use compressed air.So what do you use to make sure the phone is as cleans your hand and face?

Do's

Do use a soft, lint-free cloth with warm soapy water.

Do use a lens cloth

That's fine, but our biggest concern these days is disinfecting. So how do we do that safely?

Disinfecting...

You can use a 70% alcohol wipe or a Clorox Disinfecting Wipe if you have them, but do not use bleach on your iPhone.

Keep moisture away from openings in your phone and do not submerge the phone into any cleaning agents.

It's no surprise that we should keep our iPhone's disinfected. It's in constant contact with the two other areas we're trying to keep the cleanest...our hands and our face.

These are great pieces of advice for iPhone 11 users, and for suggestions on other models, just visit the Apple website.
