Atlantic City Electric Says It Could Be Sunday Before All Power is Restored
Over one quarter of a million Atlantic City Electric customers lost power as a result of Tuesday's storms, and the company says it could be Sunday before everyone sees a return to service.
Susan Coan, Altantic City Electric Regional VP says“Atlantic City Electric expects to restore service to all of its customers by midnight Sunday. However, we expect that the vast majority of customers will get their lights back on before midday Saturday.”
Coan says as of last night, approximately 100,000 of the 280,000 South Jersey customers who had lost power saw a resumption of service. She says hundreds of Atlantic City employees and outside crews have been working around the clock to restore power.
If you have not reported your loss of service, your urged to call 1-800-833-7476, or go to atlanticcityelectric.com.
