Authorities Identify Mother and Daughter as Two Killed in Ventnor Sunday

The two women who were found dead in Ventnor Sunday morning have been identified as a mother and her daughter.

Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner says 87-year-old Elaine Rosen and her daughter, 67-year-old Michelle Gordon, were both found dead around 10:30 Sunday morning at the Vassar Square Condominiums at 4800 Boardwalk in Ventnor. Tyner says both were victims of apparent blunt force trauma. Autopsies for both victims are scheduled for Tuesday.

An investigation is continuing with the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit and the Ventnor City Police Department. No arrests have been made at this time. This is believed to be an isolated incident and there is no apparent danger to the public, according to Tyner.
