Burlington County Man Pleads Guilty to Possession of Child Porn
Authorities in Burlington County say a 21-year-old man has pleaded guilty in Superior Court to possessing child sexual abuse material in exchange for a three-year sentence in state prison.
Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina says James Hunt of Burlington Township entered a guilty plea on May 5th in Mount Holly to one count of second-degree endangering the welfare of a child. Under terms of the agreement reached with the Prosecutor’s Office, he will be placed on the state’s sex offender registry and will also be under parole supervision for life.

Coffina says an investigation began last year after the Burlington County Prosecutor's Office's High-tech Crimes Unit received information regarding Hunt’s online activities from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Authorities were able to determine Hunt had been uploading videos containing child sexual abuse material. Multiple electronic devices were seized from his home when a search warrant was executed.
Sentencing is scheduled for July 28th.
