Cape May Coast Guard Honors Fallen Coasties With New Memorial

The U.S. Coast Guard Cape May Training Center dedicated a brand new memorial to all enlisted fallen coasties yesterday.

Reportedly, funding for the Enlisted Memorial has been ongoing since 2012, and now the finished product hosts the names of 1700 fallen Coast Guard members who made the ultimate sacrifice. The memorial was unveiled in an emotional ceremony attended by Coast Guard men, women, recruits, staff, and families from all over.

The bell was struck in memory of the fallen. Their sacrifice will never be forgotten.
