Delran, New Jersey Native Carli Lloyd Shines in Women’s World Cup Win

If you never heard Carli Lloyd's name before Tuesday, things are about to change!

Lloyd stepped out as the MVP as team USA beat Germany 2-0 Tuesday to make it to the finals of the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup.

It wasn't until the second half when Lloyd converted a penalty kick to put USA on top 1-0.  Lloyd later assisted on Kelley O'Hara's goal in the 84th minute to win the match 2-0.

England and Japan play tonight to determine who the USA will play in the final match in Vancouver tomorrow.
