New Jersey native Bill 'El Wingador' Simmons was arrested Friday on cocaine distribution charges.

El Wingador is best known for winning Philadelphia's infamous "Wing Bowl" and also for his line of barbecue and hot sauces.

According to NJ.com,

"The New Jersey State Police arrested Simmons, 50, of Woodbury Heights, during a vehicle stop in Harrison Township Friday night, said NJSP Lt. Stephen Jones."

The police were watching El Wingador for a month before the stop on Friday.  They collected over $8000 in cocaine from El Wingador's home and $4000 in cash.  He was sent to the Gloucester County Jail in Woodbury in default of $100,000 full-cash bail, also according to NJ.com.
