Great Pumpkin Drop is Today in Mays Landing

Just after 8:30am Halloween morning, we're going to drop a big pumpkin in the parking lot of Get Air in Mays Landing (behind Hamilton Mall), and somebody's going to win $1,000!

There is still time to win!

Over the last couple of weeks, we've assigned 107 numbered Cat Balls, that will be put inside the pumpkin, to 107 people. We know from past experience that not all 107 people will show up. (and they need to.)

(*NOTE: This is our only contest where we allow you, as a finalist, to send someone in your place. They will just need to provide your and their names. Oh, if your Cat Ball wins.... they get the prize!)

So, here's the deal. We'll begin our live broadcast from outside Get Air at 5:30am Thursday. At that time, we'll start a back-up list. At 8:15am or so, any unconfirmed Cat Balls will be given to people on the back-up list, on a first come - first serve basis!

(Yes, you may show up early, get on the back-up list and leave... just be back at 8am to find out if you "own" a Cat Ball.)

Even if you're not actively participating and trying to win, you're welcome to come and watch the Pumpkin Drop - it should happen shortly after 8:30am.

By the way, not only do you have to sign in... but you must be in attendance when the winner is announced. If the winner (or previously designated stand in) is not present, we find another winner.
