It seems like forever, but we've finally reached the point where the Trump Plaza is coming down in Atlantic City.

The former casino, formerly owned by our future-now-former President of the United States, Donald Trump will be coming down Wednesday morning.

The implosion is scheduled for 9am - although, we're told, the actually explosions that bring the building down could happen earlier or later.

There is a public viewing event that will be open. The vehicle-only site will be open at Bader Field. It opens at 7am, and the cost to watch is $10 per car.

According to the Atlantic City Mayor Marty Small, you'll be able watch the implosion from outside your car, but you must stay near your car, as social distancing requirements - including the wearing of masks -  will be practiced. There will be a limit to the number of cars allowed on the site.

While you may be able to watch the implosion from certain areas of the beach and boardwalk, there will be plenty of areas that will be blocked off. City officials are saying, "Stay away from downtown."

Streets in the area will be blocked off as well Wednesday morning. Here's the latest on that, courtesy of the Atlantic City Police Department:

It's expected that the event will be live-streamed on several websites, including atlanticcitywebcam.com and cityofatlanticcity.org.

Once the main building is imploded, the area is expected to still be a big mess. Officials say the target date for final cleanup of the site will be in May - before the (hopefully) busy summer season.

Here's a video of Mayor Small's news conference on the implosion details:
