Authorities have released the identity of the 10-year-old girl that was killed in an apparent drive-by shooting in Vineland on the 4th of July.

Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae says the child is Jasayde Holder, who had just finished 4th grade at Dane Barse School. Her family says she was creative with a love for music and riding her bike.

Authorities say at around 11:15 on the night of the 4th of July, Vineland Police were dispatched to Inspira Medical Center in the city after a child who was shot at a home in the 700 block of West Earl Drive died from her injuries.

Webb-McRae says investigators believe it was a drive-by shooting and they are trying to determine who was the intended target.

No additional information about the shooting has been released, however, police continue to ask residents with home security cameras in the area to submit any footage from Sunday night between 9:30 and 11:30.
