Sammi Giancola, a cast member on MTV's Jersey Shore, is opening a clothing and gift boutique on the Ocean City Boardwalk this summer.

Giancola, also known on the show as "Sammi Sweetheart", released a video on social media this week announcing that the store, Sweetheart Coast, will open at 1356 Boardwalk, beginning on weekends in May.

In the video, Giancola said the store will offer fashionable clothing and accessories, home décor and gifts.

"It's going to be a fun, fashionable boutique that is located on the boardwalk in Ocean City, New Jersey, which is my favorite place on earth. I've been coming here to Ocean City, New Jersey since I was a little kid and I thought there couldn't have been a better place to open a store than here."

Giancola launched an online clothing boutique called Sweetheart Styles in 2013.

Giancola,34, was raised in Hazlet and went to William Patterson University before starring on Jersey Shore.

She was one of the eight housemates the series followed as they lived in vacation homes in Seaside Heights, South Beach and Florence, Italy, over the show's six seasons.

Giancola left the series in 2018, saying she wouldn't appear on the reboot, Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, to avoid “potentially toxic situations, and to give her time to focus her own goals and her relationship, according to intouchweekly.com.

Since coming to fame on Jersey Shore, she also appeared in the 2012 movie The Three Stooges, on episodes of Snooki & Jwoww and co-hosted a podcast called Just Sayin.

Sweetheart Coast replaces Omni, a clothing and gift shop that closed in September, 2020, after 10 years on the Ocean City Boardwalk.
