NJ.com reports that July 2020 was officially the hottest month in the state of New Jersey to date. Apparently, temperature records weren't mined until the late 1800s. The heat we experienced during the month of July is officially the hottest that's ever been recorded.

New Jersey's not alone. It was so hot last month that all of neighboring states including Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Maryland all experienced their hottest months. Now, we can all cut ourselves a little slack in the guilt department for complaining about the heat so much. We had every reason to!
