Cops in Monroe Township say a man from Minotola was killed in a head-on crash Sunday night.

The Monroe Township Police Department says their officers responded to Malaga Road near Bracken Drive for a serious motor vehicle crash around 7:30 Sunday night. Officers arrived and found a two-vehicle crash involving a pick-up truck and a Jeep.

A preliminary investigation showed that the pick-up truck, driven by a 27-year-old man from Minotola, was traveling west on Malaga Road when it collided head-on with a Jeep Wrangler that was being driven by a 39-year-old man from Williamstown. After the collision, cops say the Jeep rolled-over onto its side while the pick-up truck stayed on the road.

The driver of the Jeep along with his 42-year-old female and 4-year-old male passengers were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries. The driver of the truck succumbed to his injuries on scene.

Any witnesses to the crash are urged to call police at (856) 728-9800.
