Remains of Sea Monster Washes Up on Longport Dog Beach

There's a dog beach that's often called Longport Dog Beach, Somers Point Dog Beach, or Ocean City Dog Beach. The beach, on the bay, is technically in Egg Harbor Township.

None of that matters, here, though, for a monster lurks in it's nearby waters!

Well, maybe...

Remains were recently discovered on the beach, that at first glance may appear to be some sort of crab leg or something. Closer inspection, though, reveals something completely different.

Is this the skeletal remains of some juvenile sea monster? What is it? If you can help identify what we're looking at, please comment below.
