Watch the Tramcar Jeeps, please!

You're in for quite the show along the beaches of Wildwood this weekend. No, it's not Barefoot weekend, although you can get all those details HERE. It is, however, safe to say that the Wildwood festivals we know, love, and missed in the summer of 2020 are back in full swing. Not only is the Anglesea Blues Festival back (you can catch Joe Kelly hanging out there this Friday at 4p), but it's Jeep Invasion weekend, too!

Whether or not you're a fan of the Jeep's performance, you can't lie... they really are one of the best looking cars out there. This weekend, you'll get to see the most decked-out Jeeps on the East coast. We're talking about epic lift kits, crazy paint jobs, and insane specs & mods that cost thousands upon thousands of dollars.

Not to sound dramatic, but the Jeep Invasion is, to put it simply, an experience. You should definitely go at least once. Even if you just admire all the trucks from the boardwalk; it's quite the sight. The organizers aren't just there to be a spectacle, either. They will actually be collecting non-perishable food items for the Community Food Bank. According to the meet's Facebook page, they've collected almost 8,000 pounds of food in the past.

The Jeep Invasion lasts all weekend long, from Friday, 7/9 through Sunday, 7/11. The official showtimes that have been listed on their Facebook page are as follows:

  • Friday, 7/9: 9a-5p
  • Saturday, 7/10: 9a-5p
  • Sunday, 7/11: 9a-1p

You can purchase tickets for the Jeep meet on their Facebook page HERE.
