Another year has gone by and that means, all the more money has been raise for children in poverty across the world! It's something we tend to forget about while living in such a free nation, but Red Nose Day is a day that we can selflessly think about those families and children in need who don't have nearly as much as some of us do.

So go and get your noses because Red Nose Day is BACK and better than ever, having already raised over $109 MILLION  for kids across the world, especially the current projects going on in the UK and Africa.

But the need is much more closer to home than we realize. According to the National Center for Children in Poverty, a 2015 survey revealed that 32% of children in NJ live in poverty. Which is why it's so important to celebrate Red Nose Day to raise awareness for those who are in need in our area!

How can you take part? Well, donate! You can also go to your closest Walgreens to purchase your Red Nose...or TWO! Social media takes a HUGE part in this campaign, which is why the hashtag being used this year is #GoNosetoNose.  It encourages everyone to partner up and purchase two red noses, so they can go nose-to-nose, snap a picture of it, and unite us on social media as we put our heads (or noses) together to brainstorm ideas on how we can make a change to end child poverty.
