Woman Not Injured as Someone Fires a Shot into Her Car in Bridgeton

Cops in Bridgeton say a woman was not injured after someone shot at her as she sat in her car over the weekend.

The Bridgeton Police Department says the scene unfolded Saturday night at about 10:15 in the 200 block of South Pine Street. There, police say a woman was sitting in her car while it was parked; an unknown vehicle approached from the back and someone fired one round into the parked car.

Police were able to recover a spent .40 caliber casing on the road. No injures were reported.

A description of the vehicle from which the shot was fired was not provided by police in a press release.
