A two-car crash in Millville over the weekend has claimed the lives of two drivers and a child, who was  a passenger in one of the vehicles.

6abc.com reports that the crash Sunday afternoon occurred at the intersection of Buckshutem and University roads.

Police say two speeding cars caused the crash, with one of the cars losing control and slamming into a car waiting at a stopped sign.

The driver of the speeding car that went out of control was driven by Christopher Platt, 22. . Also killed was the driver of the stopped car, Michelle Zenchuk, 49. According to 6abc.com, "Overnight, 8-year-old Melissa Headley, a family friend, died at Cooper University Hospital. She was one of two young passengers: a child believed to be 3 years old was listed in critical condition."
