35 Rules For Those Visiting South Jersey This Summer
If you're not from these parts and are visiting South Jersey for the summer season, you should know we have a term of endearment for you: Shoobie!
It means we love you!
Actually, the term Shoobie relates back to a long time ago when people, mostly from the Philadelphia area, visited our beaches on a day trip. They would bring their lunches in shoeboxes! Hence the term Shoobies! (Should we call change the name to Coolies? `Cause of, you know, coolers?)
Anyway, we asked some of our fine local residents to come up with some rules for y'all - and, they did!
By the way, if you have rules for us, go ahead and stick `em in your shoeboxes, `cause we don't care to see them.
So, without further ado, here are the 35 Rules for Those Visiting South Jersey:
Category #1 - Driving! We really have a lot of problems the ways yous drive. (See what I did there?)

OUCH! I told you there were a lot of driving rules! (Some people are pretty touchy about it too!)
To summarize, don't drive too fast, or too slow.
OK, let's continue. We also seem to have a lot of rules about the beach.
Category #2 - Beaches! We love our beaches!

Category #3 Seagulls! Please. Never. Feed. Seagulls

28.
It may seem redundant, but we REALLY don't want you feeding the seagulls. They're flying rats is what they are!
Category # 4 - Wawa. Yep, we have some Wawa rules.
29.
30.
Yeah! What she said!
31.
Apparently we cherish our Wawas as much as we cherish our beaches.
Category #5 - Miscellaneous. Some other important stuff.
32.
Or else!
33.
I think that's the most important one.
Category #6 - Extra Rules. Yep!
34.
35.
There you have it. 35 Rules. Follow them and we'll all get along swimmingly!
