4-Year-Old Boy Drowns in Millville Swimming Pool

A young child died in a swimming pool accident in Millville Friday night.

6ABC is reporting that Millville Police responded to a call at a residence in the 300 block of Carmel Road about 11:30 Friday Authorities say they responded to a home on the 300 block of Carmel Road around 11:30 p.m. Friday.

6ABC reports that police found a 4-year-old boy unresponsive in a backyard swimming pool. "The child was pulled from the pool and rushed to a nearby hospital where he died."

The name of the child has not been released. The incident remains under investigation.
