Officials in Cape May County say the 96th Street Bridge in and out of Stone Harbor will be closed for three nights next week for continuing emergency repairs.

According to a press release, the bridge is scheduled to be closed on June 29th, 30th, and July 1st, from 8PM to 6AM.

Those wishing to access Stone Harbor via Stone Harbor Boulevard and the bridge will be detoured onto Avalon Boulevard. Local traffic wishing to access businesses and residences up to the west side of the bridge will be permitted to proceed along Stone Harbor Boulevard.

As those repairs are being made, three raised speed tables (flattened speed bumps) will be installed on the western approach to the bridge to reduce the speed of traffic for both public safety and to also reduce the impact on vehicle on the bridge.
