Cops in Atlantic City say one person from Mays Landing was killed in a motorcycle crash Saturday night.

The Atlantic City Police Department says their officers were called out to North Delaware Avenue just after 8 PM Saturday.

There, officials say,

"[a] motorcycle left the roadway ejecting both occupants. The passenger, Naisha Peterson, 36, of Mays Landing, NJ, was pronounced deceased on scene."

The driver of the bike, a 50-year-old man from Vineland, was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center-City Division with serious injuries.

The cause of the crash is under investigation with assistance from the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office.
