Atlantic City Man Charged for Drug-induced Death of EHT Woman
An Atlantic City man is facing multiple charges in connection to the October, 2018, fatal overdose of a 25-year-old Egg Harbor Township woman.
Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon Tyner says 28-year-old Kevin Green has been charged with first-degree strict liability for drug-induced death, third-degree distribution of a controlled dangerous substance, third-degree distribution of a controlled dangerous substance in a school zone, and third-degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance, 2C:35-10a
Authorities say these charges are related to the death of Samantha Moore, which occurred on October 27, 2018. Moore died in Egg Harbor Township as a result of fentanyl toxicity.
An investigation revealed that Moore purchased fentanyl from Kevin Green in Atlantic City on the day she died.
Green was taken into custody when arrested in Absecon on an unrelated matter.
Green is in the Atlantic County Justice Facility pending a detention hearing, tentatively scheduled for September 9th.
