**UPDATE: There has also reportedly been a sighting of a black bear in the Monroe Township section of Williamstown, according to thesunpapers.com. Authorities are once again encouraging anyone who spots it to call the Department of Environmental Protection.

Well, almost a week to the day later, it appears the bear may be on the move....

While there's no way to confirm it's the same bear from up the Parkway, a bear is apparently closer to Atlantic, Cumberland, and Cape May Counties this week. The Winslow Township Police Department first warned residents Wednesday to keep an eye out. They first received a tip on June 10th that a bear was spotted on two separate occasions and warned people not to attempt to take selfies with it.

The police then shared an update yesterday regarding a sighting on Johnson Road; this time with pictures:

Authorities are asking South Jersey residents to call the Department of Environmental Protection's Hotline if they see any sightings or potential damage at 1-877-WARN DEP (1-877-927-6337).
