Brigantine Man Killed in Traffic Accident in Missouri

A Brigantine man - a passenger in a tractor-trailer truck - was killed in an accident Wednesday night in Missouri.

According to the Waynesville Daily Guide Shay Bohadana, 37, was killed in the accident on I-44 in Pulaski County.

Juan C. Diaz-Casmayor, 46, of West New York, New Jersey, was driving the 2015 Freightliner tractor-trailer westbound when the vehicle traveled off the right side of the road. The tractor-trailer then returned the road and overturned off the left side of the road into the median.

Diaz-Casmayor suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene by Pulaski County EMS crews.

The patrol report states Bohadana was not wearing a seat belt, but that Diaz-Casmayor was wearing one.
